  29. Rubbish, if you check the state of fragmentation on your hard drive
  30. *after* a format and restore you'll find it's still very fragmented.
  31. DOS doesn't optimise small file positioning at all.  Use ReOrg 3.11
  32. (Aminet) and you *WILL* notice a large speed up in things like the
  33. display of your icons on Workbench, or directory scrolling after the dir
  34. command etc.  Also you should get longer hard drive life, due to less
  35. head thrashing as all the files will then be contiguous and small files
  36. are all together etc.  This all applies to OFS FFS and the new variants,
  37. but probably not to AFS, but that's a whole new can of worms...
